Amanda Black, BA
Amanda Black completed her Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology at University of Minnesota. She was the Adoption Supervisor at ABC Counseling from 2004-2014, working with birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees. She became a mother through infant adoption in 2011, navigating an infertility journey as well as open adoption. From 2014 to 2021, she has parented her three children, while working part-time. This time includes years with another Illinois adoption agency as well as an international adoption agency. She's honored to return to ABC and help families grow through adoption. Amanda is in the beginning process of starting an embryo adoption program at ABC.
