Katherine Van Horn, LCSW, LSOE, LSOTP, EMDR certified

Katherine is a clinical supervisor in the Normal office. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Marquette University and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Katherine was hired in May of 2017 and is honored to be able to provide trauma-informed services to families within the community. She has experience utilizing EMDR, as well as mindfulness and art based interventions with children to reduce trauma symptoms and improve regulation. Katherine believes that every individual has worth, dignity, and the capacity for growth. She believes in the power of the creative process and that self-expression in a safe and supportive environment builds a path toward healing.
